God I HATE AI music. Every other week there's something appearing that looks like a new album by some obscure-ish Japanese band that I like and that have long broken up, and of course it's just super lame AI slop 🤮

Went to a sweaty pub tonight to see #WellSaid, great HK emo band. It was worth it 😁.

Really enjoying ミッドナイトタクシー (Midnight Taxi). Very short 15 minute episodes of a young woman taxi driver driving various people through Tokyo at night. It mixes these stories (some of them quite surreal) with the driver herself coming to terms with turning 30.

NHK's テミスの不確かな法廷 (Themis's Uncertain Court) is really good, highly recommend. About a judge with ASD and ADHD, it's touching, funny, with some very engaging and gripping stories and cases.

@kofanchen to be honest I'm not sure which is more realistic, my screenshot was from the Met Office, which I think is often more accurate than the BBC... but this time I hope the BBC is right...
And yes, I've been to Taiwan a few times but never in summer, so haven't experienced the really high temperatures there. I remembered though being in Kaohsiung for the first time, I think it was November, and I saw people dressing their children in winter coats at 25°C 😁

This is one of most bizarre and non-sensical pieces I've read in some time.

It's fine if you don't like going to gigs, but you don't need to tell us about it, as if you've discovered some amazing truth. Nobody cares.

As to the extrovert claim, I'm as introverted as they come, and gigs and live music are my favourite thing in the world.
