I appreciate it when Japanese words are very literal. I've just come across 各駅停車 ( かくえきていしゃ、kakuekiteisha). I hadn't seen it before, but I know all the four kanji, so you can put them all together and sometimes (not always 😁) the combination makes sense and you can get the meaning.
In this case, 各 each 駅 station 停 halt 車 car = local train (a train that stops at every station). 💡
