@HebrideanHecate yes, you can bet there will be diverse casting, probably reimagine Hastings as a woman etc.

Have to admit that the colour-blind casting in the Audible Original Poirot audiobooks isn't too distracting 'cos you don't actually *see* anything. The problem was more, that the characters as written just didn't talk like people of the inter-war years would have spoken. It was particularly jarring in the court scenes of The Mysterious Affair at Styles 😒

That said, Peter Dinklage does a pretty good job at being Belgian

University threatened with legal action after protest at academic's talk

She alleged that her freedom of speech was restricted in a number of ways, including:

The number of attendees being restricted to 60 staff, postgraduate students and members of the public

Undergraduate students being prohibited from attending

Limited advertising being provided for the event

A venue for the event being chosen which was vulnerable to protests

Reasonable steps not being taken to prevent the talk being disrupted

Prof Sullivan told the BBC it was like a "zombie apocalypse" as some protesters pressed up against the window with placards and loudhailers.
