For us as Germans, it is hard to imagine living in constant fear of being shot or stabbed by fellow human beings.

@Tami Meine Mutter würde wohl einen Herzkasper bekommen 🤪🤭

@_elena Morning Elena ☕️I'm sure you will choose the correct system for you. In Germany we say: Die Qual der Wahl 🫣

@catsalad Current workhorse machine stickers. Love the combination itself.

@_elena Have fun in becoming a Linux Nerdgirl. :C_H:

@_elena @yunohost Congrats 🎉

@heiseonline Kommen dann endlich die Züge wieder pünktlich, weil niemand mehr diese Kabel klauen muss? 🤔

@_elena I enjoy the "From the Attention Economy to the Addiction Economy" article a lot. 👍

@_elena @elena

No problem, my feed will survive that. 😋 And the articles are definitely worth a read.

We decide to use Signal for our family communication. Outside that there is a mix of different messengers like Threema, Telegram and Delta Chat. Not possible to get all persons to one platform. 😜

My journalistic friends are also using Briar sometimes because of it's Bluetooth direct communication chain. So no mobile data network needed.

Nearly the same here. A good friend living in Egypt had the same issues. Signal often not work, Telegram and WhatsApp works, but they give insights to chats if the government requested it.

Finally, we switch to DeltaChat based on encrypted email. Not ideal but better than the other options.
