I know this would be massively backward incompatible and it can't be done... but I'd love 'guix shell' to default to '--no-cwd', that's what I want to do 90% of the time.

More than that, regardless of the usage frequency, '--no-cwd' is the safest option and I think it should be the default.

I know... alias etc.

Breaking news: the proposal for a #Lisp assembly at #38c3 has been accepted! This is so exciting!

38c3 is the 38th edition of the Chaos Communication Congress, the annual hacker conference happening in Hamburg, Germany from 27th to 30th December. Roughly speaking, a Congress assembly is a space that's made available for a self-organised group, to collaborate, organise workshops, talks, etc. around a specific project or area of interest.

A friend had issues finding my #GnuPG key a few weeks ago and reminded me of Web Key Directory (WKD), a mechanism to make public keys available via HTTPS. So after meaning to look into this for a long time, I finally got around to do it.

You can now get a copy of my key with `gpg --auto-key-locate wkd --locate-keys me@fabionatali.com`.
