God, trying to sell stuff on FB marketplace is depressing. Anyone want a bunch of PS5 games?
No reasonable #fedioffer rejected

@sinbad It never gets old. Also, wait until you're fully read up on your comic books and you can just wade into a compound and just bring down wave after wave of Nazi's
@sinbad @dev_ric Ah, fair enough. I see the appeal of glass boards, but I'm too clumsy in the kitchen, they wouldn't last three minutes
@dev_ric @sinbad Remove? Nah, crushed and mixed does the job. Crush and then chop if you insist on tiny bits
If in doubt, add more garlic
@sinbad @KeefJudge Never had that problem in ~5 years of various USB-C phones - and I keep my phone in jeans pockets all the time?
Also, I'd echo Keef's comments - the USB-C cable should click into place, takes a concious effort to dislodge it. I've had some phone cases which don't allow enough clearance for the cable, but that's a different problem (and nothing that a few minutes with a craft knife haven't been able to sort out)
@sinbad @psychicparrot42 I have too many people on facebook that I only have on facebook unfortunately.
My block list is bigger than the collected works of Shakespeare though
@sinbad @gilesgoat 100% - I'll have to dig out that cary elwes book though
@sinbad @gilesgoat one of my favourite things in the world is to read the book and then watch the film. Do it every three or four years, and i can't watch the film without doing that first.
One of the very few examples where it's not "is the book or the film better?" but more "they both improve the other"
@sinbad oh good call. That machine is still running stock - the built in games are a pretty good selection but no MM
and no Arkanoid - I'll get around to modding it one day
I do have a spare trackball though...
@sinbad that's the reflection of the centipede - atari trackball and spinner games
I've played more Super Breakout on that than anything else
Got the tiny arcade plugged in today
It took a while but the big arcade is now fully up and running
@sinbad I think we all have that tendency, but I've reached the point where the two most valuable assets i have are time and space.
If keeping something wastes either of those then it goes in the bin. Yes, I keep some spares but I recently counted 34 hdmi cables in my spares box. That's a whole box just made up of redundant cables
@llamasoft_ox @gilesgoat Oh, it's definitely worth a watch. And having just finished the book is the right time to do it :)
I remember a time before videogames. I remember hearing Space Invaders for the first time, a sound that I will take with me to my grave. I remember when Pac Man was this strange new thing that demanded to be played. I remember putting my 10p on the monitor glass to reserve my first go on Defender, and then squandering it in 15 glorious seconds. I remember lusting after the ranks of home computers in my local Boots the Chemist. I have grown old with videogames, and they have grown up with me.
