A couple of PCs ago I remember finally having a gpu strong enough to look at a 3D fractal called the Mandelbox. It chugged a bit but it was fun peering into this complex structure.

Today I found I can go back there, in a little exploratory pod, and fly through it in realtime, in VR. It's *bonkers*. And absolutely beautiful.

We've come a long, long way from waiting for the ST to crank out a Mandelbrot set zoom frame, that's for damn sure. 🐂

Spent a small amount of time being a cow.

I'm sad to report that this morning we went to do Sheep Time and found that Madam had passed away during the night.

Not entirely unexpected, as she was a *very* old llama at 24.5 years old.

She had shown no signs of illness, and was fine yesterday, winding her neck round me for skritches and having her biscuits as normal.

I guess if she had to go then quickly at a good age and without any period of sickness is not a bad way.

RIP Madam, we'll miss you 🦙💔

when looking through the weird items for sale on that website yesterday I came across a listing for a perfume called "lion princess backside". "WTF", I thought, the way you do, and it turns out that there's a whole line of "perfumes" aimed at furries that are supposed to smell like various sweaty animal bits.

"Lion princess backside" has the following delightful review:
