I've been dealing with something kinda like this. I assume you've checked that your settings match pgTune recs? The OOM killer kept hitting mine but a systemd option helped with that. Hard to tell which fixed it cause I also bumbed working memory per pgTune guidance

Sometimes people ask me how I did something and almost always the answer is deeply technical... but mostly because the normie understanding of computers is subscribe to a web app...

My grandpa knew basic terminal commands but that was the last generation to accidentally pick anything useful up from a personal computer I feel like. The market is 100% black box bullshit

@silverwizard I think when I was combing through the BIOS settings I left that one on thinking I would maybe actually use it. TPM and Secure Boot are off though...am I gonna die?

The BIOS on this machine is sorta bad I'm wondering if it's too risky to maybe flash a different one like libreboot...

What should I know about running VMs on Linux?
