Building the wires and boxes needed to convert all fossil usage entirely to electricity is a big job, but it's trivially easy compared to rebuilding everything that will be wiped out by storms of increasing intensity.

He's not saying that #Meta wants to support #ActivityPub because migration is important to them.

He's just saying this is a selling point for potential users. He wants to convince Meta's critics that #Threads won't lock in users.

Are they really committed to openness? Time will tell, but I'm still skeptical.
