@hellomiakoda OMG the smells. I don't mind the natural odors, I've spent a lot of time farming livestock, animals smell like what they eat plus pheromones, people are no different. It's all the deodorants and synthetic scents that set me off.

One of the worst parts of all the excessive socializing I'm expected to do this time of year is is the cacophony of competing smells. Food, people, the weird house smell that the host has gone nose blind to. Is it January yet? I'm already done.

@hellomiakoda I wish there was something I could do to help 😓. Are you able to get out of the house for a bit today? It might be helpful to give yourself some space, let things settle for a while. You'll find your footing. You're not a burden, you're just deep in a miscommunication breakdown. It sounds like you're doing everything you can to express your reality. Do you have anyone else locally that can advocate for you, try to help get the roommates on board with what you need?

@hellomiakoda everyone's Neurospice is different. Some have that spice that plays well with others or doesn't over stim in big social situations... That's not me.

It's not our job to correct their misunderstanding of the situation. Let them white knuckle thru reality however they are comfortable. Just try to keep yourself comfortable(ish) and polite as possible until it's time to retreat.

I bailed later than expected this year, but will be in full hermit mode for many days to recalibrate

@dangillmor it's not even Disney. It's Sinclair. They own the majority of ABC affiliates. When they say they won't air a show, the ad revenue evaporates. Immediately. Boom, the program has no market, nowhere to air. Even if Disney was still going to produce the show, Sinclair says "no one's going to see it because we won't broadcast it" someone else could pick it up. But why but the show as is. If there's anything they want they'll let it crash. Strip it for parts and repackage on a new platform

@TheFreshBeets @dungeons nah we're good. Our current Level is more then 3x the Zombies CR which plenty for the games mechanics calculus. We've gotten a good hit on it already.

If you're worried about folks selecting "Divine Favor" rather then a melee attack. Consider this, divine favor auto hits and because the zombie is of the undead creature type, it takes double damage from divinity spells.

But most folks will select melee damage which is just as good in this case.

The country is too big to be united. People in every state are being crushed by the ignorance of people in other states. If we don't want to turn into a ChristoFacist dictatorship, states that still hold democracy above oligarchy need to shut off the flow of capital to the federal core and re-establish new federations

@hellomiakoda regardless of taxable liability, are your fillings current? If tax is deemed uncollectible you're in the clear for those filings. Where the current administration is fucking with people is unfiled returns. Making it more difficult to file returns so that they can go after folks. As long as you're making a timely filing you should be safe. Failure to pay liability is a different but less severe (failure to file carries heavier fines then failure to pay for most tax payers)
