sorry to tell you guys, I told them that, I wanted that, and I wasn’t kidding, but I didn’t know about neurotypes, and I think I had an NT wife and one NT kid and the ex wasn’t having it and nobody told me anything. Kids grew up and told me they, “had to,” lie to me all my life instead, and meanwhile the ex wasn’t having it and making all the mistakes and telling them they were my idea, and don’t talk to him.

So I said that, as you say, but the ex said the opposite - and the NT parent won with the kids. I hope this is only me and not your life, but I will never believe anything any NT person ever says again, they lie like they breathe. They are not interested in kind parenting.

right, I see that. My story has another step, I guess, I'm old enough that nobody probably knew from Autism, last of the boomers - but they never told me I was a Thalidomide baby, what deformities I knew about, I never heard anything about a cause for, plus there were less obvious problems.

The point is that if I had known I was in that tiny minority, I would have at least heard the world, "Autism," at some point. There's a lot of brain problems with Thalidomide, and like they do, they called it, "Autism," so I would have found the ideas.

Alright, I’m not too bright, but I’m not all that stubborn about it.

When I converted this twice end-of-life guitar to a bolt on neck (because Framus made skinny necks for child students and I have AA battery fingers), I installed the block that takes the bolts poorly, and now, four or five years later, the block has crumbled.
.
I’ve spent a few weeks trying to shore it up, but I did it all backwards, patched the top of the block first and moved the bottom around last, all wrong, I didn’t know how bad it was, did it all wrong and now I finally see something different, but anyway it’s not working and it’s back to the drawing board, I’m going to wash all of that, conversion and repair, away, start all over with nothing but a great gaping hole where the neck ought to be.

If I can manage that without destroying it a lot further, I can do something proper.
