   oh, boy, they insist they looked up the serial nuber and the Prius is a 2007 and the 20 year old battery and control unit need replacing, $6,000. Whereupon it will be better than its value, the car’s in nice shape, but that value will be about $6,000. I wasn’t really looking to buy a car at this point, which is pretty much what this is.

   I have to consider whether I can live without one.

     @punishmenthurts Elon Musk’s private jet likely just farted more greenhouse gases into the atmosphere while you were typing that than any decision you take will result in. It’s great that you care but please don’t beat yourself up about it. You’re not the problem.

     horrible ethical choice, I already regret buying the lithium the first time. 💔

     But I’m so alone and I’m not healthy enought to walk for anything and I don’t see buses here.
     .
     It’s not worth a bus fare to give it up with no battery, there will be zero cash for dropping it.
