"Australia’s 3.5 million rooftop solar installations are pumping out so much energy on sunny days that they’re sending wholesale electricity prices into negative territory, forcing large-scale wind and solar farms, as well as coal plants, to reduce generation."
Renewable is renewable's biggest competition.
Remember this map. In it Poland has been *the* worst polluter of Europe, at 867 grams of CO2eq for 2022.
Poland is planning to build many nuclear units the next decade. I did a short calculation and if they build the three AP1000 & APR1400 units, their average kWh emissions sharply drops towards 465 grams.
Germany has seen a rising annual average over the last few years and was at 486 grams for 2022 and since closed their last three NPPs.
Six units to bust the myth of the Energiewende forever
@peertube Already upgraded to 6.0.1 😊
@tilvids no, this is right on point. I have an iPhone 11 that’s four years old now and I saw nothing that makes me jump to the new 15.
@mastohost @User_Mastodon If possible, could you write a blogpost about adding this? Looking forward to add this feature.
Hi there, I'm posting a lot about nuclear energy, but I can branch out to:- Politics: I'm an 'orthodox' marxist. I'll probably use @emil for those posts.- Esperantisto.- Environment: you know my pro-nuclear stance, but did you know I'm an ecomodernist?- Democracy: Sortition is the way to go.- Economy: abolish the money economy and replace it by cybernetic communism, using labourtime as our measurement for planning.
