@BeAware well I'm open to the idea that blogs are blogs, and it could work. But I would be shocked to see it well implemented. I find myself wondering, at what point is it still wordpress anymore?

Um excuse me WTF? Automattic will be moving Tumblr to run on the WP backend? Is this all just a publicity stunt??

Sorry to ask, but in terms of personal philosophy, do you aim to find projects and employers that AREN'T this way? Do you end up accepting that it happens, and just do your part?

I'm curious, how pervasive would you say this is? Is this like every project in every org? Or half of half? Struggling to see past my own experiences, which are honestly a lot of this on repeat.

Are there any tools that aggregate blocked fedi domains? Sites like fediverse.to make it easy to find servers and get some limited data—like users, registration status, etc.—but I think I'd like to be able to see where a server is blocked from to help make better informed personal decisions.

Current fedi moderation tools are not enough. But if we're going to rely on the "moderate by instance" model even sometimes, there needs to be more visibility.
