@mekkaokereke actually this is a classic problem with poorly organized remote/distributed work. Especially the part where meetings crowd the calendar because no one has any idea what anyone else is doing, and the less coordinated it gets the more time people spend in meetings, which doesn’t solve the problem and only wastes ppls time and makes them exhausted.

No, Microsoft, you did not just name your “AI” BS-generator “Prometheus” as if you just gifted fire to man. You named it that so you can walk away and pretend you are not responsible for any consequences of this buggy release and shrug that there is no putting genies back in bottles, while you watch your downturned stock prices soar and keep more returns for your remaining shareholders following massive layoffs.

Hey journalists! Mastodon is not a “platform”. Platforms were invented in the wake of the last financial crisis to consolidate power among specific companies by mining people of of their personal data for profit online. Mastodon does not consolidate, only connects. It does not amplify algorithmically, or mine people. Any “learning curve” should include reflection on why you ever accepted “services” aimed at data extraction as “natural” or even “social” to begin with. #twittermigration
