FOIA will get you nowhere

Last February I began filing a series of FOIA requests for copies of Epstein files that I knew for a fact had not been released on DOJ’s Epstein website. In response to most requests I received duplicates of the exact same letter claiming, in part, that all files required to be released were available on DOJ’s Epstein website. When I provided documentation proving that I was requesting files that had not been released, that documentation was ignored.

Through the news I learned about Katie Phang’s lawsuit under the Administrative Procedures Act (APA) seeking to fully enforce the Epstein Files Transparency Act (EFTA). Since copies of documents filed in that case are freely available online, I began following the blow-by-blow as documents were filed. Here is the link to the court docket. When Katie filed a motion for preliminary injunction Todd Blanche responded in part by arguing instead of filing an APA lawsuit Katie should have filed a FOIA request. Docket 12, search for ‘FOIA’.

As part of their reply to Blanche’s FOIA argument, Katie’s attorneys filed two copies of the duplicate letters I have received responding to my own FOIA requests. Docket 14 - Two files.

The judge then ordered Blanche to file a response to docket 14. See the “Minute order” in the docket. Blanche ignored that court order. No response was ever filed. Blanche’s assertion that FOIA is the way to obtain copies of unreleased Epstein files is so exceptionally weak that when *ordered* by the judge to support that assertion, Blanche had nothing to say.

Katie’s lawsuit to fully enforce the EFTA is continuing to move forward. By October 1 Blanche must “file a certified list of the contents of the Administrative Record” and by October 15 Blanche must “produce the Administrative Record to the Plaintiff”.

Will the administrative record admit that the redactions we see were made in March 2025 prior to the EFTA even being introduced? Will the administrative record reveal the criteria used to decide which FD-302 victim interviews to release and which to not release? Stay tuned…

When California gets a major amount of rain this winter, the excess water may run over the surface in places where water does not usually run. Here is an idea that might help property owners recognize locations where water might run over the surface of the land during an exceptional rainy season.

Ask your city/county if they can publish an online map similar to this one for Thousand Oaks. This map shows 2 foot contour lines using data hosted on the city’s GIS server. If you do not know how to read contour lines then just do a search. There are lots of videos and explainers.

Maybe there is a subtle ‘v’ in the contour line data on property that is slightly higher than your property. Water may collect in the ‘v’ and then head in your direction. Might be a good idea to have a plan to divert running water away from your buildings.

Got firewood?

I can report on good authority that the trunk of a Douglas Fir tree that is about 32" diameter (just the wood, not the bark) will produce about 3 cords of firewood. I am nearing the end of the project. When it is all in there the row in front will be taller than the row in back.

@steter @ai6yr Caution reading the map! The symbols you see are heat detections by MODIS and VIIRS satellites. It is fairly common for those satellites to detect heat in a smoke plume downwind of the actual fire front. The fire might get to those locations but it might not be there now.

@ai6yr The conditions conducive to rapid fire spread were well forecast. But it is easy to tune that out since *usually* any fire that starts is somebody else's problem and not yours.

Huge level 3 “Go Now!” evacuation area for the NW part of Spokane City. At the time of my post the wind at Spokane airport was WSW at 24mph. I do not see a gusting mph wind speed in the most recent METAR data.

My Epstein report #2 has significant new content. This is version 5 dated May 13, 2026.

The anti-justice department admits there are more than 1,000 victims. However, as now documented in my report #2, FD-302 victim interviews have been released for only 114 victims. The evidence shows that for more than 886 victims DOJ has not released *any* FD-302 interviews.

Recently I finished some new analysis of the Epstein documents. The documents that have been released only have 138 unique victim reports alleging sexual abuse. Compare that number to the list the FBI/DOJ has with 1,114 victim names.

There are over 900 victim reports that have not been released.

@Infoseepage Personally, my favorite chowder so far is the one served at "The Hanger" in Juneau. For those that have not been, this restaurant is near the seaplane dock.

Took our visitor from Wisconsin to the Seattle aquarium this morning and then to Ivar's for "Keep Clam" chowder and rolls for lunch. This time of year mid-week they are not busy at all despite being one of the Seattle classic waterfront restaurants. Window seat watching it rain and checking out the fire boats with the cross-sound ferry coming and going from the next pier past the fire dock. #Seattle

It is 100% certain that the FBI has not released all of the interviews they conducted with victims of the Epstein child sex trafficking. Anyone can repeat the analysis I made and come up with the same list of 151 FD-302 documents that have not been made public. The FBI produced one of these documents for each interview they conducted. It is 100% certain that many of these un-released FD-302s allege abuse by someone **other than** Epstein.

Version 7 of my report on the Epstein documents has now been posted.

I also left voice mail at the offices for Reps Massie and Khanna. They can use the “serial” numbers in my report to demand access to 100+ victim reports that the FBI is hiding. These reports almost certainly allege abuse by people **other than** Epstein.

To the best of my knowledge no one else has done similar analysis based on the list of 700+ serial numbered documents the FBI posted.

Everything I post is public and can be shared widely.
