@Shadowman311 @NathanielHigger1488 A lot of them want Trump to be the second coming of Adolph Hitler because they are looking for a strong authority figure to rebel against.

Crippling cases of Main Character Syndrome and they want to be the plucky underdogs.

@sickburnbro People are also more superstitious than they want to admit.

Even an avowed atheist upon watching that footage of Trump inexplicably dodging a fatal bullet will subconsciously calculate Pascal's Wager and start hedging against the possibility he really has been appointed by God Himself.

@deprecated_ii @BowsacNoodle @BroDrillard @billiam OOP is good for some situations and terrible for others, same with any other tool.

The best languages let you use whichever tool is most appropriate for the job at hand. The worst ones force you to pick one paradigm and use it for everything.

@Shadowman311 @judgedread Art as a profession is largely for people who aren't qualified for a better profession, and in general the less qualified a man is the more left-leaning he is.

@TrevorGoodchild I had an account on NHTB, but then it went down forever and I procrastinated on setting up a new one and then before I knew it like a year or so I guess has gone by.

@TrevorGoodchild I'll re-read my post again but I'm pretty sure I didn't mention any specific policy for how people who are born defective should be handled.

@TrevorGoodchild There is some small percentage of cases where it's a birth defect instead of the result of abuse.

Sex-related birth defects show up in other species too at various frequencies.

      Freemartin
A freemartin or free-martin (sometimes martin heifer) is an infertile female cattle with masculinized behavior and non-functioning ovaries. Phenotypically, the animal appears female, but various aspects of female reproductive development are altered due to acquisition of anti-Müllerian hormone from the male twin. Genetically, the animal is chimeric: karyotypy of a sample of cells shows XX/XY chromosomes. The animal originates as a female (XX), but acquires the male (XY) component in utero by exchange of some cellular material from a male twin, via vascular connections between placentas: an example of microchimerism. The chimerism is mainly present in the hematopoietic stem cells. History Freemartins are known to have been described by the Roman writer Varro, who called them "taura". The 18th century physician John Hunter discovered that a freemartin always has a male twin. It was hypothesized early in the 20th century that masculinizing factors travel from the male twin to the female twin through the vascular connections of the placenta because...
