Same. I didn't watch his Munsters remake either. Like we all knew who was going to play Lily.

🙄
Really, Rob Zombie? Can you just go back to playing music already?
I'll bet his wife is cast as Freddie.
(I love DJ Qualls, though).

❤️ My younger brother and I "escaped". He's a die hard atheist now and I'm a witch. The witchcraft was so easy to come into considering I grew up around so much superstition and folklore. I don't have any gods or goddesses in my practice. I had too much of that as a kid. I will recognize the symbolism of them sometimes....like doing a 30 day meditation with Hekate in November, etc.

Thank you. It was very messed up. I come from a very small town that has more churches than stop lights. God was everywhere.....in gov't, in schools, at slumber parties (remember many a prayer night around kitchen tables with friends when we were as young as 2-3 grade.

We weren't allowed to watch anything like this growing up. I wasn't allowed to wear pants until I was in the 8th grade.

I mean, just looking at the release date, then that statement at the end that the reality of a nuclear attack would be much much worse. 👀

Right?
Just goes to show you how far up the Trump rear-end some of these folks are.

I was a SAHM for 13 years. When I went back to work, it caused a lot of resentment in our household for the first 2 years. I left for a week on a trip and left hub in charge. He was working plus taking care of the kids and the house (honestly 1 week alone isn't remotely close to knowing the workload won't stop for years), but he had such a hard time that he did start to help more.
It's pretty disgusting. I've raised my boys way better than that.

It's interesting how much of these ideals are ingrained in rural life. Same as fathers sitting at the table with shotg*ns when boys pick up their daughters for school dances. We had that happen to my son his Freshman year. A girl asked him to a dance and when we went to pick her hub, her dad was doing that. My kid was on 14 and it really pissed me off. I sent my son outside and gave her dad an earful. I was just LIVID.

I came to John Waters via Hairspray but Crybaby is really my favorite.

I remember when we got married and my hub asked my father. He had only been back in my life about 1 year after disappearing from it for over 10 years. It really bothered me. My hub was just trying to be respectful (this was the late 90s) but I was quietly upset about it.

My son is proposing to his girlfriend this week.
I absolutely adore her.
I'm hoping for a yes!
A family member asked if he'd spoken with her father to ask for her hand in marriage and he said, "That's her hand....not his."
I wanted to cry. I raised a good kid.

Some of the Blumhouse movies are like that for me. Lol I'm really feeling the disconnect between myself and younger generations like I hadn't before. 😂☠️ No one gets my references but some of them are my best buddies at work.

I did, too! He was just chilling to some music and red light therapying it and got whopped!
I still think there was something off with Bea.

I group watched with friends and that's prob the only reason I finished it. I did enjoy the storyline and the little clues left throughout about the side mysteries.

Bodies Bodies Bodies
Okay, hear me out. I LOVE a good murder/mystery.
This one, eh. I'm old (almost 48) so the soundtrack was NOT my jam. The dialogue wasn't great either.
I did think the murder/mystery part of it was good, though.
It's not really a horror film, either, although I think marketed that way.
