So, big announcement from me (and I'm serious enough about it to actually be saying it publicly) I am writing a book about urban rail.

I've been against letting Chinese EVs into Canada, but with the US attacking one of our biggest industries I think the balance has shifted and we should think about how to do it *with conditions*, as in Europe and Australia.

I don't much like chaining our econ. to 1900s transport tech anyways.

@bobjonkman @david_megginson the UP Express takes less than 30 minutes and never costed $40 a ride. Today it's about $12, a fraction the cost of an Uber.
