   That would be me, also in the early 1990s. I didn't take TTC to the airport regularly, but it took well over two hours from Woodbine and Gerard. And service was infrequent; I remember standing at some desolate bus stop along some stroad waiting for the transfer.

   I'm not sure the UP Express train has really helped. Is it still $40 a ride?

     @bobjonkman @david_megginson UP Express costs $9.25 from Union to Pearson, or $5.02 from Bloor to Pearson, when using a Presto card.

     @bobjonkman @david_megginson the UP Express takes less than 30 minutes and never costed $40 a ride. Today it's about $12, a fraction the cost of an Uber.
