@sun 37T in debt with close to 200T in liabilities and huge trade imbalances. Something major needed to be done; was this it, who knows if it will pay off.

Another reason why I choose to be on the 'less engagement' platform despite the claims of people like that unrelenting co-host who ran away to Twitter since 'Elon fixed it' and only nazis like liberty of speech on the Fediverse...

@piggo @sun there's some truth to that. The outer cities are dying out and Tokyo and other big cities continue to grow. I've pondered a house in Japan, but I don't think I mesh well with the local population. Maybe that's just the big cities, but who knows.
