Looking for a cartoonist who could create about 6 to 8 frames to illustrate an upcoming post on my personal blog. Paid, obviously, first publication right for me and they would be credited, retain their copyright and be able to re-use the work if desired (portfolio, etc).

@youronlyone lch() and lab() because a lot of tooling, instruments, published data uses that.
You are right that oklab and oklch are better if backwards compat is not a concern.
