    @Arcana @dushman @nyx i can distinguish between BPD hallucinations and reality, it just catches me off guard a lot. And even with drugs you can tell the difference between drug hallucinations and reality, similar to how you can imagine an orange and know that orange is not real

    @Arcana @dushman @nyx yeah this started when I was a kid actually and has been a thing my whole life.

    If anything I can have really beautiful experiences with drugs that most people can't relate to. Like on DXM I can create huge vivid cityscapes and DMT-like visuals and remember them, on acid I can paint like 4D paintings in my mind, and it's interesting to find out that this isn't normal.

    @nyx @Arcana @dushman my hallucinations are weird, but I think mine come from BPD more than HPPD. like I'll hear whispering in my ear, I'll see signs with phrases directed to me that'll change if I look again, I'll see people that disappear. It's wild

    @Arcana @dushman @nyx it's mainly just your dream entering your physical space, while you're obviously unable to move. It's the desire to "fight back" that causes it to be scary, you have to be aware basically of how you're creating that vision and what it's responding to.

    If you can be completely neutral and accepting, you can ask the figure to pull you out of your body so you can astral project, or you can imagine it doing so and it'll follow.

    Then you just have to remain calm enough when it happens to not wake up from excitement of astral projecting. If you can do that sleep paralysis goes from scary as fuck to a very useful tool

    @nyx @Arcana @dushman is it different than this kind? Cause I know this can be normal and is what I experience where you can actually see your white blood cells being carried

    I do experience a lot of visual hallucinations but I'm trying to imagine what hallucination visual snow would be different from this
