Does #Pixelfed have a spam account problem? I noticed that I got a bunch of new followers these past few days. All "cute young probably eastern-european women" with empty accounts. All from pixelfed.social
Sunday November 2nd. Earliest I've ever heard Last Christmas (but it officially starts on November 1st in Japan) It was a muzak cover and not the original though.
I have the feeling that the media speak less and less of what's happening in Ukraine, but we should not forget what's happening there nor its importance.
This newsletter is one important thing to read in my opinion:
I thought it was only for the EU, but I just could do it. If you're still on #Windows10, go to Security and Update and where it tells you to buy a new Win11 computer or else you'll die or something, there is a button where you can extend the security updates for one more year.
Still, if this #Microsoft fuckery has one good side, it is that it pushed me to finally try Linux, and thanks to that one year extension, I can do calmy and without precipitation or pressure (I don't like pressure).
On Bluesky, there's a pretty awesome bot account that posts various public webcams from all over Japan. And great news, I just found out that it is bridged to the Fediverse:
That's it, the sanseito and its dozen of seats is all over the news. And I don't expect the Japanese media to learn that any publicity is good publicity anytime soon. Fascism is using the exact same playbook here that it's been using in the West. And it works every single time. I'm so tired of people's idiocy. #Japan#politics
The one good thing about #summer in #Japan is that the sky is often quite interesting. Although the #clouds are mostly here to taunt us and rarely become rain. (If Florida summers were more bearable than Japanese summers, it's mostly thanks to the daily late afternoon downpours that happen there. Not here, the clouds just stay in the clouds and we're all dying of heat while nature lacks water)
