It was a simple process and really straight forward. I use the binary and not a distro package.
One has to merely upgrade to the latest gitea version and then drop the forgejo binary in place, replacing the gitea binary. Future upgrades than will be as usual.
@kingu_platypus_gidora I sometimes too long for archaic and rather impractical pleasures.
Wait a minute... Who says that a writing system that doesn't know any spaces between words within sentences can't be fun? Why not enjoy the museum of letters reserved for historic word stems of Sanskrit origins within the modern Thai writing system? And what about Latinised styling of Thai letters that we find so popular nowadays that has zero connection to the Latin alphabet, but just gives the appearance of *local* cool while confusing the hell out of non-native Thai speakers/ readers?
@hypolite git.friendi.ca runs on 1.17.3 which was released prior to the forking. This should make migrating to Forgejo - the newly created not-for profit community project - relatively straight forward.
@heluecht@hypolite@pankraz@tio If I understand you correctly Marco, you are suggesting that admins will define their own reporting categories. Is that right? It would make sense considering the nature of the Fediverse.
I currently have three broad categories in my TOS in terms of reporting content friendica.hubup.pro/tos (See Section 3.) They are Spam, Online Harassment, and Grossly Offensive.
@heluecht@hypolite@tio I added a comment regarding the optional description when reporting. I saw at the end Marco's question pointing the need for categories.
@silverseams On top of it, SUVs are extremely ugly looking. Aesthetically they are the ultimate design failure. Retro-transmogrified cartoon versions of industrial design!
