    @allison @Arcana @mischievoustomato it's complicated.
    I have a lot to love and a lot to hate about it as compared with NL (neoliberal-style insurance *ish* but with like, universal obamacare and far less price scalping and more subsidization than the US. Also quality of care is *excellent* I suspect due to investment in the medical-tech sector) .
    The biggest problems are access, the lottery for getting a GP who treats you like a human being, and LONG waiting lists for specialist care.

    at no point in my life have i EVER had acknowledgment that healthy at any size applies to my weight.
    it's not like i lost it through eating disorders (wouldn't matter if i did) either, I just have freak vampire metabolism meaning I can't fucking gain except muscle mass.
    I've had eating disorders too, but guess what its bingeing hence my desire to fucking watch what I eat and do occasional IF to make my gut feel better and recover from the nausea!!!

    I don't fucking want ot get chubby do you know how fucking sick it would make me to gain like that let alone maintain it when my metabolism instantly tries to shed it?

    Also it's a rly fucked sexual gaze on my body. I don't want a more cis feminine fat distribution. Im actually *very* happy with my androgynous form and the one time I did shed a little weight it made me feel better about my fucking body and alleviated some gender dysphoria !!
