My mom is finally going to get a divorce and I couldn't be more proud of her for standing up. I have no relationship with my father and for good reason. It's going to give me great pleasure to tell my father I encouraged it. My mom sounds relieved and less depressed now. She sounds empowered and I am damn proud of her. It's a huge step.

@FlashMobOfOne @catswhocode Mint is a good choice. A lot better than Ubuntu. I don't like Canonical, the parent company behind Ubuntu so I always take a hard pass on it. I like Mint. Since you're coming from a Windows world, Mint is a good choice.

@FlashMobOfOne I've never liked Windows. I used to see using it as a necessary evil. Now I am entirely free/open source with whatever I do.

@FlashMobOfOne If you are interested in gaming with Linux, I would not recommend Ubuntu. Check out Nobara instead.
