Our high school "stage band", a 16 person subset of the entire band, played more FUN music. The director set up occasional little concerts at area "old folks homes".

We'd play Dorsey and Goodman and Miller and have the house ROCKIN! It was great.

Watching the audience was a better show than THEY were getting.
