@liztai yeah, I think he has some good principles, but in saying “no credit cards ever” he sets a legalism that has some pretty strong drawbacks. I also have a credit card, and I pay it off in full every month. In the last 20 years of having it I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve chosen not to pay it off in full because an emergency came up. And the end result is thousands of dollars in rewards!

@liztai what do you think of his position on credit cards? Are they always bad or are there times where they can be good?

@liztai I came to terms 15 years ago that left and right mean different things to each person. I can think of at least five ways to define each word depending on who I've been talking to... and it's just wild. So I try to not use those words... same with conservative and liberal.

@liztai he can still run for president. There is no law preventing criminally convicted people from doing so.

@liztai Not normally. It would be normal though on a grilled cheese. But I can't think of too many other sammies we'd put butter on.
