@mk @animeirl @mangeurdenuage depends on the relationship. imo, and if living in the system, one spouse should be the safety net and the other the risk taker. this way you kinda diversify your future, like investing half your portfolio in bonds and the other half in equities.

mind you, this is if one's family is fully in the system. outside the system, this does not apply

@KobaApeLeader1 but if the donation is being used to lower the company's tax liability (lower taxable income) then aren't the donations when entering the company's coffers then taxable income thus resulting in a zero sum effect?
