@yassie_j Threads is the biggest software with Fediverse connectivity
However, being essentially blacklisted from every worthwhile Fediverse community, I would actually consider them a rather insignificant smear on an otherwise fairly interesting social network

Hey anyone else remember when Microsoft said Windows 11 was never going to happen cos with OTA updates it would be completely pointless and annoying to make a new version of the OS unless they were going to seriously rework it

@puniko I mean, I kinda do think PixelFed is poorly built actually, unless it improved a lot recently. I tried to host my artwork there and it was just constant federation problems. And that was on snug.moe, so I really doubt it;s a sysadmin issue

@puniko It;s a little weird but tbf if having a valid alternative to TikTok means less people use it, especially that less people depend on it, then that;s probably a good thing
Though I really dunno how that would work because platforms like TikTok operate entirely around The Algorithm
