Since we’re shutting down #AllThingsTech, I’ll be find another home. I’m looking for one that's not large like Mastodon.social or anything similar, an instance that is run by a great admin and great moderators, has a post character limit of at least 1,500 characters and hopefully poll option limits of 8 - 10 or more.

If you know any instance that fits those requirements, please let me know. I'm open for suggestions from all of you as I'd love to find the best place to call home.

@Aaron @dansup @loops That’s the problem. Needs to be 50mb or less. I’ve tried to upload over that and got the same issue. Plus 4k is an issue.

@dansup Trying to post a video on Loops. Getting this error. I’ve already posted 2.

@dansup Is my loops account limited or something? I’m not able to post any videos now.

Now that I am finally in on @loops here are a few things that I can see UX-wise that can really need done (maybe they are on the roadmap) to help.

1. Tapping the home button, or pulling down refreshes the feed.
2. Some sort of search function to search for users to follow.
3. Seems to me that when I load the app, videos are slow to load (are black). Might be a server issue.
4. Am I missing the setting to creating videos within the app?

I’ve decided to delete DayOne. I backed up all my journal entries in case Apple decides to allow importing data into Journal at a later time. Or when I find another journaling app.

All this crap going down with WP and Automattic, I don’t want anything to do with it nor support them in any way.
