Hmm - I wonder if threads actually has to be just threads.net. Why can’t it appear as many federated servers and people can choose which one they belong to?

@cstross @goatsarah unfortunately, the lack of telling crews about it has instead led to everyone knowing about it. Including those that might want to gain unauthorised access to a cockpit.

@jeffowski hmm - you post something concerning an underprivileged group of people and your response to feedback about that post from a person in that underprivileged group is to tell them to go away because they are privileged?

@jeffowski you wonder why? Mainly because I sometimes have to use bathrooms in the Bible Belt and I don’t want people in there pissed off at trans people right when I need to pee.
It puts me at greater risk.
That’s why.

@jeffowski yes, protest is important. But put some thought into where and when.
In this case, seeing the message stuck on the wall will inevitably make some women feel less safe, even if there is no reason to.
That can then create a situation that makes the next trans woman to use the bathroom _actually_ less safe
