Not putting cws on triggering things just makes it so the people who need the cws can't engage with your posts at all

I need cws for some things (suicide, for instance). It lets me evaluate whether I'm able to deal with something before being exposed to it

Adding a cw is the thing that lets affected people engage with your post in the first place. Without them we have to mute the affected topics or just unfollow people who post about it instead.

@petrichord @allenstenhaus @rysiek @mycorrhiza In Sweden where I live they still insist on there being a difference between autism and "aspergers" - the latter of which is my official diagnosis and a term I completely reject.

@allenstenhaus @rysiek @mycorrhiza wait until you learn about the autism / adhd overlap. Got diagnosed autistic at 19, it took me until nearly 30 to realize I’m displaying adhd traits too. Would never have figured that out without help from the neurodivergent crowd online
