Is It possible that the official #Mastodon android app contains advertisement ? I've recommended the app to a friend and saw a lot of adv show up, which was really surprising. It was installed from the Google Play Store.

@BeAware lack of a search mechanism capable of finding posts from as many servers as possible. Often search results and even threads are very partial...

I only see a "login to like or comment", no trace of support for liking or commenting from a different server

@BeAware yes that sometimes works, depending on fedivwrse software. @elif was trying to favorite a #Pixelfed post and it wasn't straightforward to do

How do you go about sharing a link to a #Fediverse post outside of the Fediverse ? Whoever receives the URL might want to interact with it, but how can you make it easy for them to interact ? I'm thinking something like matrix.to, something that might remember you from last time and automatically direct you to your client of choice... is there any such thing for the Fediverse ?

Are edits federated via #ActivityPub ? A post I wrote appears tagged as Italian when I look at it from the #Friendica server I wrote it on, but is instead tagged as English looking at it from musician.social - the original post was edited to fix the tag so I'm thinking the edit didn't travel his way up to the #Mastodon side; is this possible ? Where should I report the issue ?

@peertube that's a great idea ! I did not know peertube could do live sessions, is it something new in this release ?
