I've heard these crap questions dozens of times, and they do nothing to dissuade me from being a socialist and communist. Come back with actual arguments instead of old worn-out questions I've heard a thousand times.

The Black Book of Communism is a garbage book full of exaggerated numbers and historical inaccuracies. I never heard of the other books, and I don't intend to read them. Did you really think recommending a bunch of anti-communist books to a communist was a good idea? I change my opinion based on logical and evidence-based arguments, not book recommendations.

If by "national socialism," you mean Nazism, then obviously no. If by "national socialism," you mean National Liberation movements that are also socialistic in nature, then yes.

I think you're missing the point of this meme, the point being that the universe functions as if god doesn't exist, which means that the universe provides no reason to us to believe that a god does exist.

That is what is generally meant. My point was that it is impossible to literally keep (religious) beliefs to oneself.

Yes. I never stated the contrary. All I stated was that it's impossible for people to keep their beliefs to themselves because our beliefs are always expressed in how they impact the ways in which we treat other people.

People who say, "I'm fine with people being religious so long as people keep their religious beliefs to themselves," don't seem to realize that it's impossible for anyone to keep their beliefs, religious or otherwise, to themselves. As long as we're living in a society, within proximity of at least one other person, our personally held beliefs will impact how we interact with the people around us. People can't "keep their beliefs to themselves." They always come out, one way or another.

@Radical_EgoCom @persagen I am in favor instead of taxing the rich, getting rid of those loopholes that they use to escape those taxes that they are supposed to pay. This will have a stronger impact upon them while seizing the production will actually harm the common person and have little to no effect upon the rich.

The proletariat seizing the means of production and making them publicly owned would provide access to the necessities of life to everyone regardless of social status, which would benefit the common person, and it would take the economic power that the rich uses to exploit the working class away from them, which not only would have a tremendous affect on the rich, but would even further benefit the common person.

You've provided no evidence that the working class seizing the means of production from the rich capitalist ruling class and making them common for all people to manage and benefit from them (which just reading it, would obviously benefit the common person and greatly affect the rich) will "actually harm the common person and have little to no effect upon the rich."

I've gotten very angry over the 2024 election results and have spent too many hours arguing with people over what they should have done. I'm not doing that anymore, and I suggest you don't either. No more telling people what they should have done, and more telling people what they should do now. No more arguing with people over their past decisions, and more arguing with people over their present and future decisions.

As a Marxist-Leninist, I think it's a good idea to join reformist socialist groups like the DSA (Democratic Socialists of America), not because I agree with their reformism, but because such groups are the perfect places to recruit people into revolutionary Marxism-Leninism. The DSA, SPUSA (Socialist Party USA): all are good breeding grounds for potential recruits. Don't just join. Go to meetings and events, meet with people, and promote Marxism-Leninism to them. #socialism #communism
