All communists aren't homophobic, and in fact, many communists are allies of the LGBTQ community. If you were stating the opposite, then yes, you were indeed wrong in that regard.
You're wrong and clearly haven't interacted with enough communists to know that many of them, like many leftists in general, are supportive of the LGBTQ community. Whether a communist is homophobic or transphobic will depend on their culture, upbringing, etc, not on whether they're a communist or not. There are likely just as many allies who are communists as there are allies of any leftist group. Don't believe this "communists hate the gays" lie. It isn't true.
It isn't fair or right to accuse all communists of being homophobic. Communist who are homophobic are so for the exact same reason any other non-communist is homophobic: them being raised in a culture that promotes homophobia, a fear of what they don't understand, etc. It's perfectly right to call out communists who are prejudiced against gay people, but to suggest that all communists are homophobic is an act of hypocrisy and is also prejudiced.
The rich control everything through their money, including politicians. Do you think that the rich would just lay back and let the government tax away all of their money? The answer is no. They would use their money and power to pass legislation to lower taxes for the rich and veto laws that would raise taxes on the rich. Because of this, taxation, or any other form of reformism, can never be the primary tool for eliminating the rich.
The anthem of the National Liberation Front of South Vietnam and one of Vietnam's most famous revolutionary songs, performed in the Japanese language. Japan had a strong anti-war and pro-communist movement during the 60s and 70s when this song was recorded, with various groups coming together to oppose the war and, by extension, the United States' military bases in Japan.
Don't waste your time arguing with Alexander Kingsbury. I've had plenty of experience talking to them in the past and seeing conversations they've had with other people, and from them I've learned that no matter what you say or what argument you give they aren't going to change their mind. It's like arguing with a brick wall.
Taxing the rich would be fine, but the rich won't be driven to extinction through taxation. Abolishing private ownership of the means of production is what will.
I've heard these crap questions dozens of times, and they do nothing to dissuade me from being a socialist and communist. Come back with actual arguments instead of old worn-out questions I've heard a thousand times.
The Black Book of Communism is a garbage book full of exaggerated numbers and historical inaccuracies. I never heard of the other books, and I don't intend to read them. Did you really think recommending a bunch of anti-communist books to a communist was a good idea? I change my opinion based on logical and evidence-based arguments, not book recommendations.
