@CloudyMrs I looked at the elevation and the closest hill we have here is Broken Eyes Mountain aka Campbell River Lookout - it's a grunt up and the trail is fairly recent, but it is becoming more popular.
@CloudyMrs surprisingly although Campbell River is the gateway to Strathcona Park and lots of mountains, it's quite flat in the areas we hike. Need more elevation!
@atomicpoet although I truly don't understand this - it sounds like a very cool development. Maybe we will get back to the idea of decentralized social media - somewhere I remember hearing/reading about the notion that the human cortex is only wired to truly be able to manage 250 close personal connections. If that is true - this makes more and more sense, conversations with a small group of people.
