oh absolutely that was what i was feeling, even though i knew it was more about my own gender than what nonbinary means

compromises are rough, and i hope they work for you. i think we all make them. some about hormones, or surgeries, and in our relationships, housing safety.

all we can hope for is that we are the ones in control of the decisions, and better options may present eventually

not much to expand. i know i'm pretty genderfluid between girl and agender, possibly both at the same time

sometimes i'm still struck by those who are drawn to "boy". i love to see other folks pick up and celebrate what i've set down for myself, but i regularly wonder if ever really experienced it in the first place

standing here with the various pieces of my gender wondering how i can be nonbinary and 0% boy

which of course is valid. there's no one way to be nonbinary

Martha Kauppi's Polyamory: A Clinical Toolkit for Therapists (and Their Clients)
ymmv. it's pretty accessible but a good part of it is oriented towards therapists. i like that it is queer and kink informed

you know it's a good polyamory book when it has a section on breakups and shifts in primary partners

came out as poly to two former coworker friends and i was not prepared for their question of "what if multiple parters want to watch the same tv show?"

a bit slow, but i liked Polysecure by Jessica Fern, but it's more about attachment. i'll probably read her other book, Polywise

i'm currently reading Polyamory by Martha Kauppi, which is for therapists but v accessible. a lot of kink stuff and consent focus. ok so far.
