Going by the noises coming from the hole in the wall of the owl house (a barn), Mister Barn Owl better get his arse there sharpish, preferably with a plump rodent in his beak. Missus Barn Owl has need of his services.

I remember tiles like those from several churches round north Devon. Mostly just a few left in a quiet area from what I can remember, but still in place.

@HauntedOwlbear @Escoutaire One trunk from the tree on the bank by the post box was rotten at the base. Ivy on the wall caught it so no damage to roof that I can see. Bush behind post box kind of flat now.
All cleared up, can process to firewood over next few weeks.

TFW you come back from the shops and half a tree has decided it's done with this upwards thing and is now trying to be horizontal...

@HauntedOwlbear @foxhkron Yep. I have a Socotel S63 hooked up to a Grandstream HT series device to convert it to VoIP.
You could also use a Sangoma A200 Remora to do the same job, if you install it in a VoIP server such as Asterisk.

@HauntedOwlbear Nope. Unlike with painting, in this instance I was carrying a chain saw.

I just achieved the tree felling equivalent of painting myself into a corner. Last tree down blocked me in a corner.😀

@HauntedOwlbear Little Kitty still doing well. Scoffing food voraciously, and finding it by sight now rather than smell. Also she has started yowling occasionally, which might be a demand for more food, or she's recovered enough to go into heat.
