I've finally watched the last season of #TheHandmaidsTale and honestly, are Americans just weird or is there a gigantic plot hole in the last episode?

I mean, WHY would you walk down the street ON the street when there's a perfectly good sidewalk next to you?

And why wouldn't you immediately leave the street and get somewhere safe when you notice that there's a truck behind you?

Did the weird jaywalking ban just completely deprive Americans of a healthy fear of being too close to driving vehicles??

@lookitmychicken I used to really dislike cold showers BUT then I got into saunas, which are a huge thing in Austria, and usually you have these ice machines (like little water fountains but they're so cold the water turns to ice when it comes out) wherever you have saunas

And bc it's supposed to be healthy to use cold water after saunas, I started with cold showers, BUT the way you're supposed to do it traditionally: Right arm first, then right leg, then left arm, then left leg, then front, then back. I started doing that with showers after saunas, then with the ice machines, and now sometimes when I've been exercising and having a shower I will do it at the end too!

The reason why you do it that way is that you don't overtax your system, you just slowly stimulate blood flow from the area farthest away from the heart (right arm + leg) closer to the heart. Maybe try just using cold water on your limbs for a while?

@lookitmychicken I do know that the reason why you want to use really cold water is to stimulate your blood flow, and that sadly doesn't really work with luke-warm water, BUT you can just go a little colder each time, like I did too, and at some point you might start to actually like it (I think it's really, really pleasant, especially in summer or after working out)

My best girl Dong Siyi plays one of the Liu-sisters in it, and while I have already gleaned that she is apparently depicted as """chubby""", I still want to see her in every historical drama ever, so I'm tempted, but... yeah, how is it? Are there a lot of annoying misunderstandings? Poor ignored second male characters who turn evil because they can't get the girl? Any green tea you-know-what's going "gege" at the male lead constantly?

I'm trying to get back into music, give me some recs? Any genre honestly as long as it's not German-language music

Unpopular opinion: I actually really like being at airports

So this lady I don't know has started to send me messages on LinkedIn a while ago (very normal stuff, 'How are you', 'How was your weekend') and I've been messaging her back but I'm hardly ever on LinjedIn so I often don't see her messages for a week or longer.... and I really don't know this person :') so now I'm planning to just leave the last message she sent a week ago unanswered and hope she'll just forget about it, but I also feel kinda bad about that...
