   Okay, #cDrama people of mastodon, what's everybody's feelings about The Rise of Ning?

   My best girl Dong Siyi plays one of the Liu-sisters in it, and while I have already gleaned that she is apparently depicted as """chubby""", I still want to see her in every historical drama ever, so I'm tempted, but... yeah, how is it? Are there a lot of annoying misunderstandings? Poor ignored second male characters who turn evil because they can't get the girl? Any green tea you-know-what's going "gege" at the male lead constantly?

     @liztai a) omg I didn't know you have a drama blog!!!

     b) as an actual speaker of the language, do you have any idea why there are so many Shen Yuans? 😅 especially in webnovels I've seen several of those now, is there anything specific about this name?
