For a moment on my commute home, every single radio station on my player had a different Taylor Swift song playing at the same time.

@alysonsee Thank you for your thoughtful response. Yes I too have had suicidal ideations since I was kid, maye 16-17 years old. I'm now in my 40s and still fighting through them.

This was helpful, to get a different perspective of anguish. You seem to know a lot about this topic (lol but not lol)

My entire childhood my parents (and relatives) kept hammering the value of education. They even wanted me to study hard to be a doctor.

It’s funny then that as my parent age, they’ve grown wary of doctors and don’t believe in basic science.

Encourage your kid to become a doctor but don’t take doctor’s advice when you get sick or hurt.

This time of year always makes me nervous. Companies big and small are trying to find ways to increase profits for the new fiscal year.
