Completed: * Talos cluster, with almost sane configs * Cilium with BGP LB, ingress, hubble, gateway-api * frr bgp-ospf bridge * external-dns * cert-manager w/ dns challenge * cloudnative-pg operator * nfs-subdir storage * keycloak operator * keycloak realm/client management via terraform (because the operator is lacking tbh) * Keycloak ream with google auth (only for existing users) and webauthn/passkey login options * Forgejo
Upcoming: * Organize and move repo into Forgejo * ArgoCD * Pull infra into argo * Configure renovate against forgejo * Configure a pile of missing smtp configs * Forgejo GPG signing * Fix Cilium shared ingress * migrates local-only apps to new cluster
Unanswered questions: * CI Runners in Forgejo? Use alternative CI engine? * Secret management? May skip it -- may not be worth it given the smaller number of secrets * Storage migration? Ceph/Rook
:neocat_think_owo:💭: add hal-mode to home assistant voice assist where it just responds to everything with an angry red ring and "I'm afraid I can't let you do that"
If I do build up a new cluster I should probably replace gitlab with forget
Looks like forgjo has a container registry and CI tooling now? What would I be missing other than a wiki that I could convert to something else and gitlab pages that I don't use? #HomeLab#Forgejo
I have an airthings wave+ but it wasn't super cheap and is BT (but a simple esp32 acts as a hub for that), I got it because I also wanted the radon tracker
1. Wait for laundry to pile up 2. Do the laundry 3. When really out of clean clothing go pick up laundry off racks in basket 4. Pick clean clothing out of basket as needed for a few days 5. Dump basket on bed "I'll put this away proper at bedtime" 6. Bedtime. Dump it on the floor. Now there is a "clean pile" 7. Do another load 8. Take off drying rack, deposit directly in growing pile. It is now so big that it is harder to sort properly.
@Rasp@raru.re yup yup! (Kinda neat, nerding time, the difference between sas and sata is only a little downward connection in the sata connector side, so sata data connections are a little L
Which means you can plug a sata drive into a sas port, and it works minus some more advanced drive features, but it doesn't work the other way around)
