One thing Donald wants to do is get rid of, or at least drastically scale back, Social Security. As many conservative voters are also seniors, he's not likely to take it away for them. But, SSI? That'll be an easy target since we disabled people don't represent much of a voting block. So he'll try to kill us through a combination of taking away from us both accessibility and SSI so that we'll be locked out of the job market. This will mean starvation.

I think most of the illegal immigration problem is our fault because of our hell-bent anti-Communist policies of the 1960-1990 Cold War period where we gave billions of dollars to Central-American dictators who spent that money on death squads and thugs who repressed their own people. Now there are still just millions of poor desperate people just looking for a place where they can survive. So now America is simply reaping the harvest it deserves from what it sowed many years ago.

An #Uber driver refused to transport me from the Cosmopolitan Hotel to the airport on my way home from the #DisabilityIn conference because I am blind! I have already reported the discrimination with Uber. I am also reporting the incident to the Las Vegas Police Department and I will also be contacting the NV Attorney General's Office. Does anyone have any other ideas on how I can call additional attention to this incidet so we reduce the likelihood of it's being repeated? #accessibility #blind

My non-blindness physical disabilities are worsening and I have realized after an antenna incident over the weekend that I can no longer maintain my #AmateurRadio station all by myself. We discovered this morning that it seems no longer possible for #blind #UberEats customers on the #iOS app to select missing items on orders to request refunds. I have logged an #accessibility support request with #Uber and I hope anyone else experiencing this issue will as well. My anecdotal experience says that Windows 11 is far less stable than Windows 10 and JAWS 2024 is far less reliable than JAWS 2023. Anyone else observing the same behavior?
