@molly0xfff Yes! I use Inoreader, as well, and for the same reasons. I especially prefer RSS to email newsletters as I am more likely to read what in my feed as opposed to what’s in my Inbox.

Let’s also not forget that podcasts are also delivered via RSS reader, so you’re not restricted to just print sources when you subscribe to RSS feeds.

@BeAware I feel that's part of the point of the Fediverse. You have many options, so pick the one which fits your goals. People can follow you in so many ways.

@BeAware Second option means I have one account (Mastodon). Anybody who follows me on Pixelfed would only see posts with photos in them.

First option is where I have a Mastodon AND a Pixelfed account and I post to both depending on whether or not there's a photo involved.

Big news for Kendrick Lamar fans broke today. Needless to say, this is huge news for the superstar rapper and songwriter, but, as drum corps fans will attest, his music has already appeared on the football field a few times in recent years.

I’ve stayed with Twitter throughout all of these issues as I continue to follow the many drum corps, marching arts, and sports accounts which are still active there, but I have also looked at what my options are should Twitter finally go belly up and shut down completely. Fortunately, there are a few choices for those of us who prefer this type of social media.
