I suggested we replace most of management with ”A.I.” at my old job. Never heard back on that, for some reason.

Also; ”A.I.” in this particular case was basically a small suite of Bash-scripts running on any low-powered machine. Amazing what you can obfuscate with contemporary buzzwords!

Checked the local independent theater and the bigger one in the city, but none appear to be showing Seven Samurai any time soon, or the rest of the year. I did find they will be showing ‘The Blood Throne’ though, which was unexpected.

I’ll probably pick up the Blu-ray once it’s available. I prefer to be my own Netflix, so to speak.

Nintendo literally just said they will talk about THE NEXT CONSOLE at some point during the current financial year. That’s it. Nothing more and nothing less.

Yet here we are with video upon video spewing nonsense like “nInTeNdO cOnFiRmEs SwItCh 2”, as if that’s what was officially announced. If this is supposed to be journalism, I’m not impressed!

But in general, banning things doesn’t make them magically go away, rather the opposite.

I’m in favor of banning TikTok not because of the supposed threat of government level backdoor spyware, and sophisticated espionage. No, no. I’m in favor of banning TikTok because it makes me weep even harder for mankind with each new “trend” where idiots do idiotic things, inspiring other idiots to do even more idiocy.
