@joeo10 I’m doing what I can to remove as much of their software from daily operations at work, but it’s quite the uphill fight. Still, I’ll persevere.

The greatest misconception in computing since the 1980s is that you need to have Microsoft Office in order to be productive.

Unfortunately pretty much all companies seem to have fallen for that fallacy.

I suggested we replace most of management with ”A.I.” at my old job. Never heard back on that, for some reason.

Also; ”A.I.” in this particular case was basically a small suite of Bash-scripts running on any low-powered machine. Amazing what you can obfuscate with contemporary buzzwords!

If you need to add suction cups, it’s very likely you have messed up the design in several different ways.

@joeo10 Yeah, sounds like par for the course, sadly.

Checked the local independent theater and the bigger one in the city, but none appear to be showing Seven Samurai any time soon, or the rest of the year. I did find they will be showing ‘The Blood Throne’ though, which was unexpected.

I’ll probably pick up the Blu-ray once it’s available. I prefer to be my own Netflix, so to speak.
