ICYMI I've updated my Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak livestream announcement on @damagecontrolblog with embedded video from Twitch. The hunts went well and I had help from not only my spouse, but a viewer in chat who joined our room. Good times all around!
My driver's license expired. I figured I might as well get a Real ID while I'm at it. Ah, nothing like a long wait at the DMV. Good thing I'm on vacation.
(This is not my ideal way to spend a vacation, but it beats worrying about work getting in the way of being at the DMV.)
Part 15 of my Final Fantasy IV: The After Years livestream is now on @damagecontrolblog's YouTube channel. In this part I decide on a party to explore the third moon. I spend an hour lost and quickly learn that party isn't going to work out very well.
Hopefully by the time I go back to work on Tuesday I'll have fully transferred The Ice Cave away from Hostgator.
At the very least, I will be contacting my domain registrar to close out and delete my account. I no longer have any domains hosted with them, and I'm not going back.
I can safely say I'm rusty with Monster Hunter. The good news is that it didn't take long to get back into the swing of things with Sunbreak. I'll probably work on some builds and new Master Rank armor in preparation for the next time I livestream the game.
@minneyar It's amazing how old tech can be so much more reliable than newer stuff. I'm not an Apple fan either, but the iPod and iPad are things from them I don't mind using.
My Bluetooth transmitter/receiver arrived today. Now I can pair my wireless earbuds with the iPod Classic.
I do find it amusing that as new tech comes out and occasionally proves to be a disappointment, older tech is still waiting in the wings. Bonus points if that older tech can be paired to work with newer tech.
Tonight I'll be taking a break from The After Years to livestream Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak for @damagecontrolblog on Twitch. For this stream, it will be a multiplayer event with my spouse helping me out. Join me at 7PM ET for all the fun.
We're live and playing Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. Baby Mario's cries are just what our streams need. Come and hang out with us! (We made sure the picture for tonight was correct.)
After having a less than stellar experience with an iPod Touch, I finally have an iPod Classic. It's finally been reformatted to work with Windows and I transferred some music over. It's a slick little gadget. I love the click wheel.
