For some reason all the posts from pixelfed.de friends are showing up in my pixelfed.social home timeline as "no preview available" and "the requested image can not be loaded."

I'm able to see them perfectly from my Mastodon timeline, it appears to only be from my pixelfed that the issue occurs.

Is there a setting somewhere I have incorrectly set which might fix this? I follow quite a few great accounts over on pixelfed.de 🤔

The past few days, non image reblogs started appearing in my Home timeline again, although the settings are set to exclude them.

Is there another setting I've overlooked?

Is there a way to see a Pixelfed Instance timeline (their "Home") without joining the instance?

It would be incredibly helpful to see the instance's most recent posts ... especially with pixelfed.social now closed to sign-ups.

Knowing if/how active another instance is would help to make suggestions to new Pixelfed Peeps.
