Anyone using the official #peertube app on #android? how the hell do you connect to an existing account instead of using the pre-generated local account? Boosts appreciated!

@notptr @Mrfunkedude @lps well that's lame. the peertube apps in f-droid let me sign in but i can only see videos from my instance. i liked that i could see videos from different instances on the official app.

discoverability is so difficult with peertube. i know the search tool exists for it but i mean with related videos across instances.

Today's sock haul. One of the #cats, barely longer than the socks, brings them to me all day long meowing the whole way. Only wool socks, though. She's brought wool sweaters to me, too, but those are better secured now.

There were another five by my bed this morning.

good #tzag, #fediverse. up earlier than usual and it's likely gonna be a trend. trying to keep the cats from waking up my wife. been up since about 0530 and that's a huge leap since i normally get up at 0900.. likely going to go back to polyphasic (or at least biphasic) sleep like i did 20 years ago.

spent the morning futzing about with the auora builds from @ublue and digging into some #python plumbing for work. i do intend to do normal saturday leisure activities today, though...

The opening animation for the #sega port of #alteredbeast where the eyes are coming into focus implies that the protagonist is walleyed. I like to imagine that he is in a perpetual wall eyed state in all forms and looks absolutely unhinged along his journey.

just tried to log into an account, it said my password was wrong. mashed the forgot password link, tried to change my password, it says i can't use my last password as my password. technology considered harmful.

@morph a note on my german: it was the first language i tried to learn outside of english because my parents lived there for some time (military). i tried a bit as a kid and then had some classes in college. it all came together for me when i was in croatia last year, got separated from my friends, couldn't speak croatian but luckily i bumped into some friendly germans who thought i was from berlin because of my attire and blue mohawk 😆 i knew *just* enough to figure out where my friends went!

@morph while i can't speak the language very well, i can generally read and understand german if there isn't a lot of slang. thanks for the post!

I guess #fennec has fallen behind a little bit in updates so I've removed it from my phone. I use #firefox on the desktop. Is there any reason not to use it on #android? I only used that particular fork out of inertia.
